Inspired by the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum’s courtyard, this painting traces the interstice between historical fragments and living nature — where memory folds into the present and space becomes porous. In the quiet garden of the Gardener, marble and leaves breathe together — time bends, and memory takes the shape of light between them.

Fantasma Dolls: Assemblage of Small Figures, 2010-2025. Mixed media, 70×9×43 inch
Created for a solo exhibition Interstice ECOCA, New Haven, CT (2025), this installation brings together the Fantasma works and the Doll Series, forming a sculptural assemblage of small figures. This collective arrangement evokes fragments of memory suspended in space, while the wooden shelf; shaped to suggest a vessel, gathers these small bodies as if they were a quiet world setting out on a slow voyage.
